How my journey began
Hey there! Welcome to the In Her Passport blog. My name is Elyse and I’m so excited you’re here.
To get to know me is to know how I fell in love with traveling. I am originally from Ohio, but spent most of my childhood in Rhode Island. I lived in 5 states by the age of 22. My parents spent the first 10 years of their marriage traveling the world before having me and I was fortunate enough to be part of their travels at a young age.
Why I Travel
I travel for the people and the animals. This might seem like a “duh” comment, but I truly fell in love with meeting people from all over the world. There is a special bond you can make with someone while traveling that can last a lifetime & there is so much you can learn about yourself by learning about others around the world. I still to this day keep up with tour guides, other tourists and locals from all over the world.
